Eat your heart out Suzy homemaker, there is a new girl on the block and her name is Sarah. I looked at my child the other day and decided that she needed a hat. Not just any hat either. She needed one that was crocheted by me. So I resurrected my trusty crochet hook from the craft box it had been placed in 7 years earlier and proceeded to whip up a pretty darn cute hat.
Not too sure about her new hat at first.
But then decided it kept her head nice and warm.

haha...I have many memories of crocheting with you (and v-shaped blankets). Or is it crotchet-ing?
That hat is so sweet. There is something special about making something for your children with your own hands :)
I knew you would like this post :) I have not crocheted since college! Have you crocheted anything for the boys?
Nope. I did knit a scarf for a friend this Christmas, and I have made a quilted blanket for Logan. I am a wanna-be sewer, I guess :) I have good ideas and intentions, but it just takes too much effort!!! This Christmas I was going to make cute sock monkeys for all my nieces and nephews, but then I realized I would probably never get around to finishing them and I gave up before I began!
Cerissa I am impressed that you knit! I tried it once and gave up, I can't operate 2 needles at once. I understand about the whole getting excited about a crafty project but then only half-way finishing. It just isn't as fun after the initial excitement wears off.
